Houston, Texas rap star Devin the Dude and Jacksonville, Florida, comedian Lil Duval will play the lead characters in a new film titled Hillbilly Highway.
The movie, which is being produced by Eddie Griffin, is currently wrapping up filming in Atlanta, according to director, Damon “Coke” Daniels.

Hillbilly Highway follows the antics of two marijuana-loving brothers, Earl and Ray Ray.

The pair embark on a journey in search of a mythical highway in Kentucky, which they believe leads to “marijuana nirvana.”

On their quest, they end up in the middle of a feud between the “Gatfields” and “McCroys,” based off the legendary feud between real-life families, the Hatfield and the McCoys.’

Director Tyler Maddox Simms brings together an all-star cast in Melee Entertainment’s comedy/drama, “Love Chronicles-Secrets Revealed.”

LOVE CHRONICLES is set at Los Angeles radio station KLUV, where callers air their dirty laundry over the airwaves for all to hear.  Over the course of one crazy day, show host and “relationship expert” Darren (Rockmond Dunbar) and Janet (Vivica Fox) have had another one of their epic fights that threatens to end their marriage and make a joke of Darren’s career.  At the radio station, street author Thomas Black (Mike Epps) advises cougar Monique (Elise Neal) how to stay married while DJ Mike V (Ving Rhames) helps out the good girl who falls for bad boy from the other side of the tracks.

Actor Kent Faulcon has come a long way from getting clowned by Will Smith in Men In Black. The actor, who others may remember from the “Soul Food” TV series, makes his feature directorial debut in the film Sister’s Keeper.

In the action drama Faulcon plays an ex-soldier and mercenary named Jacob Tate who is hired to kill a small town school teacher who mistakes him for her long lost brother.

As writer, director and star Faulcon had to balance many different responsibilities to see his vision come to life.

“In directing myself it’s like jumping off a cliff,” he says. “I’ll call action and have to put the directing hat aside. At the end of the scene when we called ‘cut’ I’d have to do a replay in my head of what I had to adjust. There are times when you have to sacrifice. I’d be in the editing room six months later and go ‘ugh.’ That was one of the drawbacks of being in front of the camera. When you’re dealing with limited budgets time is crunched.”
After showing his movie at festivals around the country Faulcon has obtained distribution for sale and rental in national chains. In this exclusive interview Kent Faulcon shares how he got his start acting and the creative inspiration for “Sister’s Keeper.”

In Men In Black 2 Michael pokes fun at everyone thinking he’s from another planet. While he insists that he can be “Agent M” Zed blows him off saying they are still working on that “alien affirmative action program.”

Michael Jackson’s Ghost (1996)

While this is technically a long form music video it did appear in theaters. Michael Jackson’s Ghosts was directed by film director and special effects guru Stan Winston    and released along with select prints of the film Stephen King’s THINNER. It was released a year later internationally on VHS.

Captain EO (1986)

In this exclusive film for Disneyland theme parks directed by Francis Ford Coppola Michael is a spaceship captain leading ragtag crew of on a mission to deliver a gift to a wicked alien queen, the Supreme Leader.  The plot line was pretty much an excuse to string together several Michael Jackson music videos and dance sequences but no one was complaining.

The Wiz (1978)

In the musical remake of The Wizard of Oz Micheal Jackson played a Scarecrow with serious soul despite not having a heart. Though he did nearly as much singing and dancing as he did acting it’s still hands down Micheal’s best performance in a movie.

Three years after “Stomp the Yard” premiered in theaters a sequel is now on the way. “Stomp the Yard: Homecoming” centers on a student at Truth University (Terrence J from BET’s “106 & Park”),who must overcome personal obstacles to win the national step-up title. Actors Columbus Short, Keith David, Pooch Hall, Kiely Williams and “So You Think You Can Dance” contestant “tWitch” also appear along with rapper David Banner.

“Stomp the Yard: Homecoming” will hit DVD and Blu-ray on September 21.

(AllHipHop News) As fans of The A-Team gear up for the movie’s debut tonight, Compton rapper Game expressed his frustration with the director’s choice of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as the iconic figure “B.A. Baracus.”

The Game was one of several rappers who expressed serious interest in playing the role of “B.A. Baracus,” the character made famous by Mr. T.

Both Ice Cube and Common, two critically acclaimed rapper/actors, also wanted to play the role of “B.A. Baracus,” which is played by Jackson.

Jackson had to adjust his schedule and wait until he finished shooting The A-Team, in order to square-off against longtime MMA rival Rashad “Sugar” Evans.

According to Game, Jackson lost his appeal as “B.A. Baracus” after he lost a decision to Evans during UFC 114 on May 29th, further proof that the role was meant for the Compton rapper.

“He couldn’t f**k with me. No disrespect to Rampage, but my dude Rashad Evans whupped that a**,” Game told AllHipHop.com. “When he had that UFC fight against Rashad Evans and he lost, I felt like that was me [winning]. ‘Don’t you know n***a? I play Mr. T (A-Team character ‘B.A. Baracus’) better than you! I pity the fool!’ I went in there [the audition] and I killed the Mr. T role on my screen test.”
