Evander Holyfield’s wife, Candi Calvana Smith, is seeking a temporary protective order against the boxer after accusing him of hitting her in the face, according to RadarOnline.

Candi Calvana Smith — Holyfield’s third wife — called the police after the couple got into a fight at their home in Georgia last week. She claimed that the deeply religious boxer accused her of being selfish when she complained that their children were too cold and that she should ‘put God first in her life.’

The couple then continued to argue about payments made to their church and after she refused to show him pay stubs Candi alleges that Holyfield hit her in the face on the back of the head twice and on her back also.

Candi also claims that Holyfield has hurt her before and that he has been violent in the presence of their children.

Singer Beyonce appeared in a commercial for Vizio televisions, which aired during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIV last night.

The ad was directed by Wally Pfister, best known as the cinematographer of “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight.”

The commercial shows how Vizio is bringing “the best of the internet” to your HDTV, so they made sure to surround Beyonce with some our favorite YouTube sensations and celebrities. She sang and sold that company’s Internet Apps technology, which already includes Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr.

Beyonce’s “Dereon” Sued For Half A Million

Jay-Z is not one to let an event like Superbowl XLIV pass without leaving his mark, and last night, the MC kicked off CBS’ Super Bowl kickoff show accompanied by the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra for a “Posthumous Zone” version of “Run This Town.”

Rihanna did not make an appearence, but the song began with her recorded vocals. The clip was shot in New York last Tuesday and featured approximately 65 musicians from the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra and the Rutgers Sinfonia.

Maestro Kynan Johns said the school was approached about the job last month, and that the video shoot would help his students to see that “it takes a lot of time to get pop music to that level.”

Most children with famous parents are very grateful that they’ve got an easy, immediate “in” to the industry, especially if they themselves want to be stars. But, at a certain point, you want to break away and create a name all your own.

Zoe Kravitz is on her way to doing just that. And she was able to do so without it being solely based on her looks because, let’s face it, she’s gorgeous. And that’s no shocker; after all, her parents are the equally beautiful Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz. But this girl’s actually got talent. Multiple ones. Call her a triple-threat (of some sort).

At just 21, the actress has completed and released five films, acting alongside acclaimed stars Terrence Howard and Catherine Zeta Jones.

She’s also the lead singer to Philadelphia-based band Elevator Fight. They’re slowly gaining recognition; a high point being playing the mainstage at Philadelphia’s Roots Picnic in June 2009, along with The Roots, themselves. Watch them perform their song, “Paloma”:
